Cover pools Cover will not Open

I have a Cover Pools Save T Cover II. The cover will close but not open. The motor turns just fine. We just had a pool guy change out some parts and said there are no more shear pins. It's acting like a pin is sheard but can't pound it out. Pool guy won't stand behind it, says its our problem. Is there a slip clutch adjustment that I can try?

post a video of it? Try a screwdriver or something just slightly smaller than the shear pin to find & align the hole before tapping in the new pin

It’s a cover pool safe-t3 , about 9 years old. It engages to cover, but just spins when uncovering. Is this a self-fix slip clutch adjustment issue, or something more complicated?
