Couple of questions

To be honest I used some of my powder shock bc I wanted to deplete it if I'm going to liquid shock.
Forgot this one.

Solid forms of chlorine are stable. Save it for now until we know what it is and how it will effect your chemistry. What is it (cal-hypo, dichlor, trichlor)?

So I always have to keep level at 5 and during slam I need to maintain 28 until it clears up. To be honest I used some of my powder shock bc I wanted to deplete it if I'm going to liquid shock. I'm assuming I screwed myself putting it in. Next question I don't mind cloudy water. Will Cya lower on its own. I've been using these tablets Clorox Pool&Spa XtraBlue 3-inch Chlorinating Tablets, for Swimming Pool Use, 5lb - Walmart.com and this shock Clorox Pool&Spa Shock Plus Pool Shock for Swimming Pools, 6pk - Walmart.com
I'm guessing I should stop
Don't use any of these products. XtraBlue=Copper= Green Hair & Stains

20 is probably a fair guess, and you can take then back if it goes easier than usual.

Pool math said 4 gallons 1 quart for 28ppm. I went ahead and put 5 gallons which it should of put my at 32ppm according to poolmath. Checked it this morning and I'm currently at 28ppm and .5. So I lost 4 ppm over night. Do I need to add a gallon now to hold it over 28ppm? Or wait till later?

Hold at 28. There isn't any benefit to going over, especially during the day when the sun burns some off too. Replenish back to 28 every 2 to 3 hours. If you have to go run errands, dose early and buy yourself the next block of time away.

Test frequently during the day. UV will burn unbuffered FC quickly. Don't be shocked by the amount of FC loss you experience during the day. A loss of 4 ppm overnight indicates the strong presence of unwanted organics.

It's getting closer only lost 2 ppm overnight. I can actually make out the bottom of my pool ladder. Just a tad cloudy Haven't seen that in 2 yrs. Hoping this slam is finished tomorrow. Quick question. Menards has liquid chlorine I'll attach a photo want to make sure it's good. It says 12.5%
