Hello,

I’m a new pool owner with zero experience owning a pool. I’m struggling to keep a stable chlorine level. I know my cya level is lower then recommended and will be adding some to pool this weekend. My biggest issue I think is my swg is running at 90% and chlorine levels still slowly drop. I believe the generator is around 4 years old. Should I focus on getting my cya up before looking at chlorine? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Levels are below. I’m using a TF-100 kit.

More info
Pump runs 24h
CC is 0

Thanks
Tom

Welcome to TFP.

What model SWG with what size cell?

Please create your signature with details of your pool and equipment. That lets us give you more specific advice.

Do a Overnight Chlorine Loss Test and check if you have algae consuming the chlorine being generated. If you fial the OCLT then you need to follow the SLAM Process
