Copper ionizer is the same issues I've been dealing with and a yellow stained vinyl liner. Can I run my pump for another 2-3 weeks without the ionizer? Should I just unplug it? Any help appreciated. First 3 years all I ever added was chlorine bleach. Never had a problem until now and ionizer is new.

Unplug it. Remove the ionizer from the system if you can.
