Getting ready to schedule my coping and tile work, and trying to figure out the best option for my coping overhang.
Planning to use 12"x24" limestone for pool coping. There is a 16"x24" option that I thought would be good to use on my raised spa 12" bond beam, as a way to make it look cleaner without having to do two rows of the 12" width.
Issue is, if I go with the 16" option, I can either have the pieces uncut, with a 2" overhang in the spa + 12" across bond beam + 2" overhang in the pool (which will match the rest of the pool coping). Or, I can have them cut the 16" pieces to provide less of an overhang in the spa (1" or less).
Throughout the build I had planned to have as minimal spa overhang as possible to minimize the discomfort, which is one of my fears in this type of spa. But, now wondering if it's worth it to have all the pavers cut to make this happen, or just leave them intact and have everything "match" all around?
