Here's one for you long time pool builders - I have a customer with a 40 something year old Hallmark fiberglass wall/concrete bottom pool. She wants to replace the deck and plastic coping. I'm looking to find a replacement coping. It looks like it attaches like the plastic coping we used back in the '70s on FOX pools, minus the liner track. Ideally I could come up with something that has a liner track in it with the intention of possibly installing a liner in the future. Original builder is retired. Apparently the original Hallmark Pool Corp is no longer. I've sent queries to my favorite vendors and to Cardinal Systems (FoxPools), Latham and the "new" Hallmark Pool Supplies. No luck.20200903_134326.jpg

My husband and I bought a fixer upper with a hybrid pool and have the exact same coping as this pool. We are currently exploring options on how to cost effectively get this pool swimable while we do some other home projects and do more research on what the best option will be more long term. Curious, where did you come across the booklet/schematics for that pool? 46696601-F291-4739-84F6-5C60236B9EB2.jpeg

The owner had the booklet and schematics. I came up with a proposal for how to renovate the pool for her. If you PM me with your email address I can forward that email and pictures to you. I found suitable coping to retrofit this pool to accept a vinyl liner if the concrete deck is removed which is the best option. Or, you could install surface mounted liner track and wall foam and cover up the whole thing with a beautiful vinyl liner. No inexpensive options here. The least expensive is the bandaid approach of patching and painting.
