My pool hit 94 degrees today! Way too warm for me to enjoy. So, after reading all the posts and watching a million YouTube videos, I have a pool cooler!
I can’t credit for the idea or the design. I followed this video. The only thing I did different is that on the top horizontal piece with all the holes, I put at T connection to give it more support as I have no way to actually attach it to the top of the pool. I have 1.5” pvc that T’s down to 1”. The only thing I would do different is the holes I drilled. I used a Dremel to drill the holes which was much easier than a drill. I put three rows of holes, and I’m not getting the height I would like, because when I rotate the horizontal pipe to get more height the water comes out of the pool. I may make a new horizontal piece with only two rows of holes.https://youtu.be/fAQ3DoRKDGI
I have seen some with the bar placed vertically instead of horizontally to get more air exposure. Keep an eye on your pH. All that aeration will cause it to rise.
