cool pv vs thermal solar

Hi,

I am in the process of getting bids to install solar heating for my pool and came across cool pv.
Wondering if anyone has this installed and does it make sense for pool heating ( since thats my primary motive).

Most people use a 300k btu pool heater, you can get by with a slow 100k btu heater.

Convert that to watts and add in extra if the pv is going to be used for something else.

Hi there!

We are also considering CoolPV. Have you run across anyone who has had it installed? Where are you at in the process? We are looking at a 10.5kW system to power all our energy needs and it would heat our 40,000 gallon pool and hopefully extend the season too.

Only 10.5kW? That won't be noticeable on a 40,000 gallon pool.
