We just finished recoating the cool deck. We power washed before and took advantage of the dry weather to get it done.
About a week later we have these weird spots like splatters of iron/rust (see pics).
We haven’t fertilized around the screen cage and the only thing I see are the bolts in the ceiling beams for the screen cage rusting (see pic).
I painted the entire deck 2 years ago and we have NEVER had this problem. The entire setup is in it 6th year.
Could it be the stupid bolts dropping microscopic bits down? Seems so weird. Maybe something in the acrylic deck coating we purchased from Sherwin Williams.
anyone know what it could be?
