Hi,
We're resurfacing our inground pool and upgrading the equipment pad. I currently have a pressure side line installed for a clean (no booster). I was thinking of getting an electric robotic cleaner and doing away with the pressure side cleaner. Since the plumbing is in place, should I have the line go to the pump to increase the volume of water the pump can pull? Is it worth the cost/effort?
Here's some details of the pool
Size 16x33 = about 21,000 gal
2 inch line to the pump
1 1/5 inch pressure side cleaner line (no booster) ( I'll like to take this to the pump)
2 inch return
I'm thinking of installing the Pentair IntelliFlo 3 HP pump (model 011018) and the 420 sq feet Clean & Clear filter.
I also may convert this into an SWG pool and install solar.
Thanks for all your help!
