I purchased an i5p (pool only) intellicenter controller for my pool. I have decided to add a spa now to the existing pool while doing some new landscaping. Can I purchase an expansion board to the current model I have to convert it to a PS model? From what I have seen, the PS models have the additional board that controls the return and intake valves.

You'll need to add an i5PS daughter card (Personality Card). PN: 521936Z which will slide-connect to the i5P mother card.
That being said. If I were going to go through the expense of adding a daughter card. I would at least add an i8PS daughter card PN: 521968Z.
Leaves some room for expansion down the road if you want to add additional lights, other powered devices, etc.

I have a i5PS daughter card not being used in my system. Long story short, I ended up with a PS system on a pool without a spa so the card has been unplugged from the main board since installation. I'm willing to sell it if interested.
