Convert Intex outlets from 1.25" to 1.5"

Hi all, I could use some help here. I've done a lot of searching, reading and watching but still a can't exactly figure out how to get these two to work together. I recently bought a Intex 15'x48" and an Intex SF70110-2 sand filter/pump (2800GPH) to replace the cartridge filter/pump the pool came with. The pool has two 1.25" outlets and the pump uses one 1.5" hose. I've seen the 1.25 to 1.5 hose adapters (link) that can convert the two outlets on my pool but I would still need more 1.5" hose and T connector right? With this size pump and flow rate will the original 1.25" fittings be large enough to provide enough water to not starve the pump?

I already plan on cutting out the larger opening in the pool for the 1.5" Hydro Aeration inlet that came with the pump, so I'm ok with cutting larger openings (fingers crossed). Would it be better to cut in new larger outlet strainers as well for flow? If so what Intex parts are those? Is there another brand that will work? I'd still need a T connector and more hose to join them right?

Sorry, so many questions, but I'm very frustrated with all of this.

Thanks Richard, I saw that and looked at the last thread in there, but the pictures were dead. The 2nd page has another thread linked that seems to be exactly what I'm looking for parts wise - new 1.5" strainer openings

I just finished cutting those stupid plastic things that serve as suction/returns, off my Intex Pool and it wasn't as stressful as I anticipated! I had two of these things to remove and it was a piece of cake! I chose to do it before I set my pool up, but I will put the thru-the-wall skimmer...

I plugged one of the returns and cut the other to accept the larger inlet that came with the previous pool I had which did away with that ridiculous T fitting so now I can use a regular valve and the 40 mm hose

Get some pictures and post the how-to in that intex thread. Someone is bound to need them and then they won't have the frustration you had.

I used the little black bubble cover that came with the pool to cap off one of the suction intakes. I bought this: Hayward Replacement Swimming Pool Eyeball Return Directional fitting 1.5 Inch 842372199087 | eBay and then you'd need something like this: Amazon.com: River Country On/Off Plunger Valve with Strainer for Easy Set, Frame Set & Ultra Frame Pools Intex, Bestway, Coleman Compatible: Garden & Outdoor
I used the included gaskets to mark a circle on my pool wall (over the hole that's already there) by tracing the inside hole of the gasket and then used an exacto knife to cut the hole. I thought it would just be easier to use the 1.5 hoses on all of the pool. The bigger strainer with the removable face also allows you to use the intex deluxe over the wall skimmer.

First let me say when your current intex goes bad save all you’re fittings you may need them in the future. I I never thought the government would regulate that there had to be two suction inlets. Please watch your small children in the pool . So it makes it hard to use any over the wall skimmer , vacuum and now you have a crappy T fitting and some really cheap hose to deal with. Closed one inlet off by using a B fitting and a cap. Also used a B fitting on the live inlet for a season . With the B fitting you can use the Intex hose With the large nut.

Well like I said I used that B fitting setup last season on the suction side. This Season I cut that black piece out about a large inlet in for more flow I had this lying around it is an Intex part from an older pool. I would say to put the rubber seal against up to the hole for suction and trace the inner part of seal. Cut it out with an exacto knife . I would think if you put a peice of wood behind it it will be easier to cut

I used JB Weld on the black cap for the second return. It's been holding up for three years now.
