New question.....Is this calcium staining on the pool? How can I diagnose what this actually is and what caused it?

Making slow progress with water exchange.....CyA is falling though. But Alkalinity was very low. Added some alkalinity increaser and BAM, cloudy water this AM! Ughhh....So frustrating.
Ph - 7.4
Alkalinity- 40 Before adding increaser
CyA - 112 ....was 180+ before beginning exchange
Hardness - 150
Free Chlorine-4
Total Chlorine-4
guess I’ll just keep exchanging and keep using the liquid chlorine until I get CyA to an acceptable level to begin SLAM.

Just an FYI- Alkalinity Increaser is nothing more than Arm and Hammer Baking Soda, which you can buy in big bags for far, far less at the market instead of the pool store.
