My daughter sneezes a lot after swimming in chlorine pools. Is this a common reaction to chlorine? Would she not sneeze as much if we converted to a SWG? Just curious if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks!

mojo,

I sneeze a lot when in my pool, but I assume it is because of the bright sunlight...

Just so that you know.. A SWCG pool is a chlorine pool.. the SWCG just makes the chlorine instead of you manually adding it.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Do you have a list of all chemistry readings?

Do you have a list of all chemicals that you use?

Is the water crystal clear?

Are there any signs of poor water quality, like foam, cloudiness, algae, smell etc

Are there any other reports of swimmer discomfort, like coughing, red eyes etc?

Combined chlorine (not free chlorine) is also a respiratory irritant and associated with higher rates of asthma in swimmers. Make sure you don't have elevated levels of CC.

Obviously your pool may be perfectly balanced with 0 CC, but friends or neighbors pools or public pools are most definitely full of CC!!
