Connecting Tristar SP3202vsp to omnilogic

It says it will connect via Hayward Unique Address but I have no idea how that will work.

Do I just wire it like it says in the Tristar manual from the rs485 a and b to Hayward control

2 and 3?

Do I also have to do the COM as well to Hayward 4?

Thanks for your help. Don't want to require everything.

I have no experience, but would assume you just wire it up like the manual.
It also states when you would hook up the COM wire.

I have put in a request to our Hayward Rep. to help with this. Hopefully I will get a reply shortly.

You should only need to use the A and B. I think the com wire is for other controllers if there is a communication error, my OmniLogic only uses two wires.

Here is the reply back from Hayward...

"The TriStar VSP should be powered from the pump breaker to the pump. Communication wires should also be run from 2 & 3 on the RS485 connection on the control to A & B on the pump. Terminal 2 - A and Terminal 3 - B. The HUA ( Hayward Unique Address) would a consideration when connecting to an OmniLogic Automation."
