Confusing levels

Getting conflicting advice. Clear choice testing
FC 6
Cc 0
Ta 100
Ph 7.6
Ch 225
Cy 30

The manufactures had suggested a low Cy level as it impacts the orp level. Yet online people are suggesting a higher figure. Also astral suggests take off 110 but online is suggesting lower. I have an astral pool filter and measures orp not ch. It is a swg unit.
Keen to get a definitive answer

36000 l fibreglass black pool
swg. automatic acid doser.
cartridge filter. computer measures orp not fc

If you could list the brand names and model numbers of your equipment in your signature, that will help a lot.

Keep CYA per the manual for your ORP system for now. Drop based testing from the CCL kit will be accurate, and it appears that you can let your FC level down a bit, but it's still within the safe swimming range. The ORP number will provide less accurate FC estimates, especially as the ORP probe becomes fouled. There are a fair number of threads about ORP that you can find using the search function (upper right). You'll find it helpful to learn a bit more about ORP.

Regarding "Astral suggests take off of 110", I think you mean total alkalinity (TA). With automatic acid dosing, this isn't going to make much difference, but something around 60 to 80 is our recommended level and will also work fine. If I were you I wouldn't adjust TA because the automated acid dosing is looking after pH, while many of us lower TA to make pH adjustments less frequent. How much acid have you been using per week or month? You may have an opportunity to run pH a little higher and save a few $ on acid additions.
