Confused on draining pool

Need to partially drain the pool before slamming. Think I did it wrong. I only managed to drain a few inches, I think through the skimmer. How do I continue draining with my pump. I have no sewer clean out (seriously) and the hoa will not allow draining to outside. Think I messed up with the levers or missed one? I’m so lost. Did I totally mess it up? I’ve been relentlessly scrubbing the last couple of days and hope to complete this. Photos attached. Any ideas?

What’s the purpose for draining? Generally you want to use a sump pump to pump out water instead of risking your expensive pool pump which can’t drain below the skimmers anyway unless you have a main drain. Maybe someone can take a look at your levers and figure out if you can do it that way. I assume you have a main drain in addition to skimmer?

Edit: in your first picture the skimmer valve is open and the main drain is closed. Those valves work opposite of normal ball valves. There’s an arrow on them that points to the pipe that will be blocked.

Ok so my cleanout is buried somewhere & my HOA sucks about it too. I had to get creative

I ran a long water hose from cheap pump through my laundry room window to sink

A simple garden hose, or five of them, can all be allowed to empty thru siphoning. Lots of videos on Youtube on how to siphon.
