I need to replace a low voltage transformer as the 35 year old one rusted through. I purchased a Sollos TR12SS-INT-120 that my local electric supply house recommended. I was going to install it and read the decal on the transformer itself which states it is suitable for use with submersible luminaires, pumps or fittings but then read the installation instructions which state it is not to be used with submersible/pool/spa equipment. I called the company and was transfered and left a VM but haven't heard back. I also sent an email to customer service with the photos of the conflicting information. Does anyone know if this is safe/advisable to use with 10 low voltage landscape lights and one low voltage pool light?Decal on Transformer.jpgInstallation Instructions.jpg
 
The company called back and apologized for the conflicting information. This particular transformer is not UL rated for use in bodies of water that people enter. It is only rated for bodies of water like a fountain or Koi pond etc. They are going to clarify the published information moving forward. They are also sending me a list of transformers that are UL rated for pool use.
