Concrete slippery solution

I got my pool finished and was cleaning if over after it was stained and finished and noticed it was quick slick. I checked ours before the stain/seal and it didn't seem very slippery, so I didn't think to ask the contractor.

I read there was something they could have put into it when they were pouring to make it less slick. However, mine is already done. Any suggestions on how to resolve this after the fact? Any DIY solutions? maybe something I can mix in with another coat of sealer.

From my memory it was mixed with a top sealant (I think it works with many top coats/sealants), and it really added a lot of extra texture/grip without much visible change to the surface. I only noticed the coating when I looked closely...it looked just like sealed concrete. I am not sure how often it would need to be refreshed or re-coated either. Hopefully some other members have used it and know more about it than my one second hand observation.
