Concrete over partially removed pool

Hi all.

I’d like to hear what people think about concrete over partially removed pool.

I have a couple of contractors that gave me similar prices for partial and full removal. But they both recommend partial if I am not building over the space. They do say concrete over partial would work well.

Any thoughts?
