Concrete dust in pool help!!

We had a concrete patio put in around our pool. We had crystal clear water when we opened the pool but because of the concrete dust etc our pool is not clear. It is sort of a milky color.
I have shocked it and ran our robot which did get a lot of concrete from the bottom of the pool.
Our robot is getting less and less concrete.
How can I get the water clear again? Thinking I should drain most of the water out and refill. Please help!

The generic answer is it will take lots of filtering of your water and cleaning of your pool bottom to get rid of the dust.

Next time put a cover or some tarps over the water before work around the pool.

What type of filter? Pumps? What is your daily run time for your pump & filter? What type of pool finish? Plaster? Vinyl? Fiberglass?

Concrete dust is very alkaline. Bleach won't fix that. The dust you're seeing might even be aggravated by Calcium precipitating from high pH.

When the FC is less than 10, test pH and TA and adjust pH as needed. And then just be patient and let the filter work.
