Hi TFP Community. Looking for some input based on other’s experiences.
I have a newly poured salt finish concrete deck with 1% thyme coloring.
The face of the cantilever section connected to the spa tile has a horizontal crack. The contractor patched. The patch is now cracking similar to the original crack.
Pictures included. First two pictures show pre-patch; last two show post-patch, which is how it currently looks. Probably should have never patch, but here I am.
Contractor gave three options:
What is best option for aesthetics and longevity? Thanks!

Contractor gave three options:
- Leave as is;
- Re-patch; or
- Tear out and re-pour, with color match being a concern.
What is best option for aesthetics and longevity? Thanks!
