Concerned About Water on Pool Cover – First-Time Pool Owner

Found it at Harbor Freight and picking it up after work today. My cover is full with more rain expected this weekend.

I really like mine.
I suspect its a wayne clone or cousin.
I do pull it out before freezing weather - i just sit it on the deck by the pool for quick re-deployment after things melt.
It is supposed to have a shut off but in my experience the hose freezes before the puddle so it doesn’t shut off. I also now pull it off during dry periods since my cover seems to leach water.

I don’t plan on leaving it out during any potential freezes. I do find the auto shutoff a nice feature because I really don’t wish to babysit it this weekend.

One minor modification to firmly attach the bucket lid and she hummed away. Made very short work of the drainage.
