Hi
This is our second winter with pool. We hadn’t had much rain or cold before snow this past weekend. Should the cover be sunk down that much?

I am not sure what we would even do now, but did not know if we should be concerned or not.

Thanks!

Here is another picture.

Perfectly normal. So long as your water level is about 16” or less below the deck level then it will be fine (that’s about what the manufacturers say is the max). If the water is lower there isn’t anything you can do now though so don’t worry. It’s probably frozen to the surface.

The springs on the cover should be 1/2 compressed before the snow arrived. Then fully (or less) compressed with the snow load.

Cover is not sinking. It’s sitting on the water.
