Hello - I just bought a house and had the pool repaired. I have figured out chemistry with my pool (I have a chlorinator, a bottom drain, skimmer and 2 jets) (also have a variable speed pump) but I had a question relating to the repair.
The liner was recently replaced and the bottom repaired. Near the entrance to the pool, I found that the contractor (which was ASP) left screws under the liner. Not screws attached to anything, but more so just laying on their side under the liner. The company is coming out shortly to check the liner itself and likely do the repair (right after their install) but in this type of case, I would think they would need to replace the liner as well? It is not leaking (yet) but I see the groves were the screws are in the liner itself. The liner is 27mil. I also plan on calling the liner company as well.
I am just trying to keep them honest with the repair as I would suspect the liner has been compromised. I don't want them to take the liner out and remove just the screws and then the liner tears in a year. Let me know your thoughts.
