Combined Chlorine

I have been up and running with the new plaster pool now for more than a month and levels have been great but today my Combined chlorine jumped a tiny bit (was 0, now 0.1). Is there anything I need to do or just keep chugging along?

yes, good point.

I'm using a k-2006 and get 3ppm and 3ppm but this test was a confirmatory test I do every couple weeks on a LaMotte WaterLink spin at a nearby store....all other results are nearly identical to my k-2006 and have been for 2 months so I trust their results.

Don't waste your time. Water testing at the pool store isn't worth the price.

Great. Follow the FC/CYA Levels. Your FC is too low.

ok, thanks, I have been shooting for 5-6 but it seems to drop to 3 after a day

is there a CC level on my K2006 that I should worry about?

I agree that pool store confirmation is now a bit of a waste of my time

Minimum can be a bit confusing. Consider it absolute minimum, anything below is an open invitation for algae.
