Code Question for Austin, TX Owners - Pool in 100yr Floodplain?

Hi All,

I've been searching the city website and found some code info regarding residential pools, but haven't come across my specific question, which is, 'Does Austin, TX have a code restriction that prevents new pool construction in a 100yr floodplain, in a yard that backs up to a small drainage creek?'.

I figured maybe some Austin folks here might have run across this before.

I don't have much of an answer for you...

My husband works for Harris County (Houston) in their roads and bridges dept. He thinks that they would allow it in HC, as long as you get it properly permitted.

Reputable pool builders in your area may have a better answer for you.
