Hello everyone,
We are looking for updating our deck and were wondering if there is any concrete or other types of materials coats that we can use instead of removing the current concrete deck and putting a new one.
Removing the concrete deck is too much for us and it is expensive too

What is the condition of your concrete deck?

Why do you want to update it?

You can use the existing concrete as a base for pavers if you can work out various details.

Post pics of your existing deck and show us what updates you desire.

Then should we level around the pool? We replace the skimmer and figured out the deck drains are broken and weirdly is not connected to either sewer or drainage system. It dumps the water around the house

I don’t think there is anything you can put on top of your deck. The concrete needs to be removed and replaced.

The quotes for pavers is about 45-50k and it is not only about the cost. We think removing and replacing at least takes a month and it is going to be a lot stress since they might break pipes and …. We thought maybe some coats would work easier
