I just had a new in ground pool completed after a year of Covid-19 related equipment supply issues. Everything is functioning well with the exception of the lighting. My pool professional has had a really hard time getting the aforementioned different brands of LED lights to sync the colors and even control the colors using the Pentair Home app and IntelliConnect controller. The only thing the lights will do is cycle through all the colors. Party mode I think it’s called. Will these different brands ever work well together?

R,

I doubt it.. Most color lights are set by turning the power to the lights on and off quickly a specific number of times for the color you want.

It seems that each brand of light has there own "code" as to how many pulses are required for the same color.

The IntelliConnect only has two relays.. so it is not capable of doing much. To individually control say 5 color lights, you'd need 5 relays, and 5 transformers, unless you wanted each light to be on at the same time, and all be the same color.

Good luck,

Jim R.

The CMP lights come in “ Styles” you will need Style P to be controlled with a Pentair system. But it’s very doubtful the lights will sync with or the colors match the Pentair lights. I could be wrong.
