Correct, on the day I started slamming, the FC was too low for CYA of 70. I try to keep it around 5. It got away from me for a day or so, as I typically don't manually dose. Was pretty busy and we had a couple of warm days. Missed one day, and there it was.
The deck around the pool is properly pitched, so water doesn't run into the pool. And I have a vinyl pool so don't really think calcium even plays a role, does it? Maybe so. I did see if the filter would clear up the cloudiness, and after two days it did not, so I didn't want to risk a real outbreak, so started the SLAM. It was clear that night, but didn't pass the OCLT till last night.
