Closing an inground pool

Hello everyone,

I know its early for this topic but I wanted to get it out early. I decided to take the plunge and close my pool this year. I have watched every video and read most topics on closing your pool at TFP and thank you for all of that! It is very informative and I am positive I will get it done.
So I went out and purchased a Cyclone and it will arrive this week. I am looking for the adapters I will need so I can plan ahead for the fast approaching closing.
I have 2 Pentair pumps, heater, filter, skimmers, Leaf skimmer and Paramount PCC2000.
I am looking for any homemade attachments anyone has made or purchased. I am also wondering where I may be able to buy a used lid for my Pentair Pump that I could convert to a Blow Out Lid.

A lot depends on your complete system. All you generally need is one way to get the Cyclone to blow into the pipes, and then use your existing valves to direct the air as desired.
I bookmarked this, anticipating getting a Cyclone, rather than use my trusty compressor (as I have done for years).

Stick it in a skimmer, run a 1/1/2" hose (Home Depot) to the Cyclone, attached with hose clamps. No need for a special lid. The air will follow the same path that all the water does now. I'd pre drain what I could - pump, filter, etc.. Just put it all back together before blowing, so the Cyclone can move the remaining water out of the returns. After the returns are blown out, plug them up, and the only path the air can take is back around through open valves for your other skimmer(s) or the main drain.
Pictures of your plumbing would help, if you have concerns about specific ways to get it done with your setup, and my simplistic description doesn't seem to fit your situation.

Thanks for that, I will order today. My plumbing is "Complicated" I'm told, but I had taken pictures during the build and pretty much have mapped out every pipe. Only part I'm missing is the adapters, so thanks for your response and the adapter to start my collection.
