Hello,

We were hit pretty hard by hurricane Helene, our pool was filled with a lot of dirt and debris from all of the rain rushing through our yard. (We have drainage to divert the water around the pool, it just couldn't keep up during this storm). I am looking for the best way to get the water clear ASAP. We have cleared all the debris and leaves from the pool we are just left with small dirt particles in the water.

Pool was installed in 2023
Pentair Cartridge Filter
SWG- Jandy- Aquapre 1400
Polaris Automatic Pool Cleaner

Test Results as of this morning
FC- 12 (Raised this during the storm when the power was out avoid algae blooms)
pH- 7.6
Alkalinity- 60
CYA- 75

Let me know if there is any more information needed to best help me out. Thank you in advance for your support!
Picture is from the worst part of the storm. We were able to get the drain cleared and water level back to normal as soon as this picture was taken.

Welcome to the forum.
I would suggest continuing to filter and use your pool cleaner.
Once you have done that for a couple days, do an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test.
If you pass the OCLT and still have cloudy water even after filtering for a few days, then consider using a clarifier. SeaKlear or Orenda brands. I would be sure to get the bulk of the particulates first so that the product has minimal fines to clear. You will likely need to manual vacuum after using the product and be prepared to clean the filters a few times during the process.
