I noticed someone here stating to not use Muriatic for cleaning a SWG. What is recommended for cleaning if I shouldn't use 50/50 muriatic and water??????

Are you sure your cell actually needs it? Some have a reverse polarity feature and it never built up anything needing to be cleaned. Don't clean unless you see build up on the plates.

If you maintain a slightly negative CSI (zero to -0.3), buildup on the cell should be minimal to none. Ideally, you never have to clean the cell.
