Cleaning SWG RJ60 Cell First Time!!! NEED HELP!

you can unscrew it, it will be fine.. it means you have no leaks.. you can also unscrew the bottom of your filter or take the lid of your pump to lose suction and let the water return to the pool :)

How do you know it needs cleaning? you only want to clean them if they really need it... it is not something that is just done because or at a certain time schedule...

Why do you think the cell should be cleaned?

How do you intend to clean it?

Every time you acid clean a SWG cell you remove some of the rare earths from the plates and reduce its lifespan. Only do it when you see scale on the plate that cannot be removed with blasts of water or a stick.

Well I just went back out and turned the SWG back on and everything things fine....Only the Generate light is on now. My pump runs pretty low throughout the day does there need to be a certain number of gallons per min for the SWG to run properly?

Ok so now I see it could be inadequate water flow that can cause the cell maintenance light to come on. Ill look in the manual to see if I can find the proper flow and set my pump to it

There does and if your filter is a little slow or higher pressure the RPM could need to be adjusted up 200 RPM...

The easy way is to adjust your pump to a lower RPM and go up by 200 rpm.. then when the SWG turns on add 200 rpm :)
