Cleaning skimmer

I noticed 5 or 6 round balls (probably from oak tree) down in the 2nd skimmer hole. How to get them out? Short hose to other hole so they land in pump basket? Tried to take photo, but pump is running.

Do you have a pressure bladder? Then you could push them up & out backwards from the other (pump) end. Not sure if a garden hose alone is strong enough, but you could try.

Would actually be from pool end, but good idea. A garden hose nozzle on jet setting into the grill fitting on pool wall should blow everything out. A few leaves came out just sitting the weir. Decaying leaves could be why my CC strays above .5 occasionally.
