Cleaning Cover before Removal

I have a Meyco safety cover on my pool. When I open the pool, I want to clean the cover before putting it away for the summer.

I'm wondering if there is a product this forum can recommend that will allow me to clean the cover while it's on the pool, using a long-handled scrub brush, where the cleaning solution can drain through the cover into the pool without impacting the water chemistry.

Any ideas?

How dirty is it? I think I would just hit it with a hose. I am not sure there is any cleaning product you want in your pool.

Agree, I clean our solid winter cover while still on the pool with just the hose and last years pool brush to brush it a bit, then remove it, manually drying the underside as I fold it up after it dries on top. We don't have enough space to spread it out anywhere else to clean it. With the solid cover I'm able to pump off all the dirty water after scrubbing it rather than have it end up in the pool, but even so I've never used anything other than plain water and a light brushing.

Mine isn't dirty - just trying to take the best care of it possible (stretch those $$$ as long as I can).
