I recently bought a new filter element for my cartridge filter. I bought exactly what the previous owners had installed. When I search numbers on my equipment it tells me it's a pentair 150 sf cartridge filter but the replacement I bought says it's a 200 SF filter. Are there any reasons why this would or wouldn't be acceptable? The filter I replaced looked to be very old and tattered. I'm guessing it has been working for quite some time.

The 200 sq ft cartridge will have a higher dirt holding capacity, so you should see a longer time in between cleanings than the 150 sq ft version
