Hi Folks

I've had my unit for about 18 months and so far have been really happy with it. However...starting last month, every time there is a slight wind (and it's been a pretty windy month), the door flops down. I then walk out and put it back up and it doesn't seem to "seat" very securely. And of course the bnext time the wind blows or should I look at it the wrong way, it flop sback down.

Anyone else experience this? Is ir something I should call Circupool about?

Thanks.

Is your controller covered or shaded?

Cheap plastics just don't hold up to direct AZ sun exposure and heat. From the RJ manual:

The Module is fully rated for outdoor use; common sense considerations such as minimizing direct exposure to rain, sunlight, water runoff, and lawn sprinkler systems will enhance longevity.

Mine has been fine. so far I wonder if you could rig-up some sort of Velcro tab or something to keep it closed?
That's a good idea; one that I had kicked around mentally also.
Funny, I often can't get mine to open.
:) That is funny!

It's not covered, but it is shaded. I rigged up a way to shade my pad with the same material that is used for window screens out here. See pic. Hopefully that meets Circupool's "common sense" test :).
