Circupool RJ 60 Classic Low Salt Light

We are getting a intermitttent Low salt light.
Salt is ok at 3900 used salt strips , my salt meter and took sample to the pool store. All about the same readings. When the Low salt light comes on the unit goes into a low production mode.
I have been adding liquid clorine to keep it going.
Question could it be the cell ? There was no white residue on it, But I cleaned it anyway in the acid mixture, it did not help the Low salt light..
Any Suggestions would be great ...
The Cell is 4 Years old.
Thanks...

Typically if a SWCG cell starts showing Low Salt and the salt is not low, it is dying.

Some pool stores can test cells.

Take care.

I have been running it at 60% for 10 hours a day. ( last 3 years )

But this season i had to turn it up to 90% for 10 hours to keep up.
Also the heatsink on the back of the unit gets really hot !!! But its always been like that.
I can run it all day in manual mode with no salt light on.
But when i switch to auto ( uses internal timer ) after about 2 hours i get the low salt light.
Circupool suggested i inspect the cell for spot weld cracks ( i will do today )
i have always kept my chemistry in accord to the TFP reccomended levels.
