Bought this unit in December 2019...ran flawlessly for all this time.
We had a transformer blow out last week in S FL. I just noticed today a "system error" red light.
Looking up the info looks like I need to replace the unit.

Have no idea if the transformer blowing out had anything to do with it but its a strange coincidence.

Also, the panel, which my pool guy connected to the wall in back of my house, just above the pump, had literally
cracked apart all around. I had to use duct tape. The sun/rain here in S. FL definitely caused havoc on the CircuPool panel.
Little disappointed in their weather durability.

Looks like they warranty the parts for the age of my unit between 40% and 60% of the cost. Guess I'll find out more next week.

Curious how the warranty works out. I bought mine in early 2020 for $850 and they have gone up in price a lot.
Luckily I was about to mount my controller in a pool room and the cell is in the shade also.

Many people have made a shelter for their control boxes & other sensitive equipment as uv & high temperatures are very rough on electronics & their enclosures.
You mentioned a transformer blowout- I assume you mean with the power company.
It’s hard to tell from your post whether or not you suspect a surge caused your current issue with the swg.
Not sure if that would be covered by the swg warranty or not as that’s not really something they have anything to do with.
Many people choose to protect their equipment & appliances with individual or whole panel surge protectors for this reason. It is my understanding that certain whole panel surge protectors have some guarantees & they will pay to replace or repair damaged electronics that are protected by their equipment if installed properly so if you already have one of these it may be worth looking into. Once one of these surge protection units suffers a surge it needs to be replaced with a new one.

I wanted to get the RJ45 so they gave me a $400 credit and since the RJ45 was on sale, I ended up paying $1,000
The EDGE 40 case essentially completely crumbled like a cracker when I was trying to remove the cords from the panel.
No way can I get the EDGE line with this Florida weather
