Chlorine Tab Suggestions

+1. I don't bother with Google in the aisle, just simple math. May 15th for example is 4 full months (4x30 = 120) plus 15 days (120+15 = 135). So if it was adequate on May 15th 2025 it'll be 25-135 or 135-25 along with a bunch of other numbers usually. Depending on how many short months have passed so far, it may be a couple days off, but it's WAY close enough. Preferably you want 3 months or less but 6 months works in a pinch until you can find a fresher supply. Grab the freshest they have when possible.

How do I add this to the pool? My returns are in the sun deck. Should I add the liquid chlorine to the deep end?
I would put it in the deep end and brush really well to mix it in. I don’t like putting anything in the water that close to the plaster. Might be ok either way though if you brush it in.

I would go with the brush in one hand and pouring the chlorine with the other - so you’re mixing as you pour in the deep end.

I wont be able to add liquid chlorine for a bit and need to use tabs and a floater. Should the floater be placed in the spa or the pool?

Tie it off with a string and it'll stay in the middle if it's breezy or the pump is running.
