Due to some unexpected circumstances my wife ended up adding half a gallon liquid chlorine to my fiberglass pool and didn't mix it up after she added it. I now have a yellow stain on the bottom of the pool leading to the drain. Does anyone know anything to correct this.

Could be iron. The chlorine itself will not bother the fiberglass.
Put a handful of Vitamin C tablets in a sock and tie it to your pool brush. Set it on the stain for a few minutes.
