I bought some pool essential at Lowe's this morning and one of the jugs leaked in my trunk. I cleaned it as best I could but will I ever get the smell out? Or is my trunk destined to smell like a public pool forever now?
Well, at least yours is you know is a clean public pool smell, eh?
Leave your windows open, clean the area with a bit of dish detergent mixed with lots of water, leave a dish of baking soda in the trunk....maybe it just takes a little time......?
Thanks I will try that. I have the trunk open to try and air out. Most of it seems to have seeped through the carpet and into the plastic well below.
I really hate that chlorine smell and I'm glad my pool never smells like that!
