Chlorine levels

I have started following the TFP method and testing daily or every other day. Since then my pool has been crystal clear. However I feel like I am using more liquid chlorine per week adding it daily than previous. (I used to shock once a week with liquid chlorine and use stabilizer pucks.) I have an in-ground vinyl pool, sand filter, no extra features. The pool does get afternoon full sun, minimal use during the week. Every day it seems that I have dropped 1-2 ppm free chlorine which requires a top of of liquid chlorine. My CC is 0 when I test. I still have the pucks floating in the pool as previous.

Here is my chemistry over the past few days.

Does anything seem out of sorts, or is it expected to drop 1-2 ppm/day?

Its actually expected to drop 2-5ppm per day depending on weather and time of year. Youre doing quite well at only 2ppm.

Welcome to TFP.

Your using more because you weren’t using enough before.

The FC is too low, try to stay in the middle to top of the target range. The minimum is too low. With pucks still in use keep an eye on your CyA.
