Chlorinator & SWG

Do you need a chlorinator if you have a SWG? Like for in the winter months?

I don't... I turn the SWG off when the water hits 60 degrees or so and just use liquid chlorine (bleach). Since its winter it actually takes very little and not very often at that too keep the pool up to snuff.

If there should ever be a reason for you to use pucks, just use a cheap tablet floater.
