Conversion to salt and help with testing

This has been a lot to take in but my pool is a mess. I tried to get it right last years but I could not figure it out.

For a quick recap I have

A sand filter with a chlorinator
a Hayward pump
vinyl pool with 25000 gillions

I am fixing to do all of the testing shortly and will post the results shortly. I have read through the pool school stuff but I need somebody to help me with a walk through because I learn better by doing as appose to reading.

Free and combined Chlorine is 0
PH 7.5
Total Alkalinity: 60
Stabilizer: 0 Could see the dot all of the way to the top

So from what I understand I will need to bring the cya up first but can I do that at the same time I am putting in the liquid chlorine to get the slam process going?

Pool Math is showing I nee 9 lb 2 oz to raise the cya I know that will take a while to dissolve I would kind of hate to have to wait three days to start slam.
