Chipped brick

Hello,

I have a vinyl in ground pool with brick around the edges. A tree service chipped one of the bricks. Can they just replace the one chipped brick or is the repair more complicated than that to do it correctly? I assume they'll want one of their people to do the repair and just want to know if there are things I should look out for. Best,

John

Welp. Replacing one brick is pretty straightforward. The brick and the fresh mortar are gonna look like a gold tooth though.

Bricks come in many shades, including "old & been out in the sun." Best if you have a spare brick lying around, though.

My pool replasterer was able to replace a broken brick and you'd never notice it without a very close look. Grout can also be colored to match. Looks like you may need more grout all around anyway.
