Chipmunks chewed through top and white strap of intex ultraframe pool

Hi guys! Newbie here. Our neighbor gave us an 18' Intex Ultraframe pool and chipmunks got into our garage over the winter and nibbled through it in a few spots. Namely:
- the white support band around the middle
- the strap that the white support band is threaded through (pictured- image 2)
- a spot on the top where you thread the poles through (pictured- image 1)
- a few holes in the bottom

Given Covid these pools are now selling for double or triple their price. Would you guys recommend that we buy an overlap liner, or are the nibbled location compromising our safety here.

You could use big ratchet strap and vinyl repair kit to fix that up.

I wouldn't think so, you might just gorilla tape or flex tape them.
