So, the install was going along (slow, but it was moving). The plumber came out on Thursday to finish up so we could get plumbing and electrical signed off. Well, during the pressure test, one of the plugs (see image) for the main drains was shot out...the result was this chip in the far wall. Yes, mistakes were made (specifically the plumber should have covered the main drains with a drop cloth or something that would dissipate the energy if there was a failure. We talked about that...I notified the PB and they are working to fix it. As of right now, the PB is having some issues with the manufacturer due to my color being "special". As you can see, the chip is pretty small (and well below the waterline). I was just looking for the TFP braintrust to weigh in on options. I am okay with the PB just coloring the white part black and covering with epoxy (if that doesn't void my warranty. The PB is in a death spiral about color matching...my thoughts are if it is dark and the repair is only to that small area, I am about the only person that will notice. I am just wondering what the TFP experts think, thanks in advance.

Here is the thing that hit the wall

Here is the chip (penny for size reference). The crescent shaped mark below the chip didn't penetrate the gel coat (or whatever the topcoat is called), that can be polished out.

I am with you..................so long as it is dark and that small (it will need to go over the chip a bit to make sure the chip is fully covered) then it should all be good. If anyone wants to go on a *treasure hunt* to find the fixed spot let them and wish them luck LOL See if your PB will move forward if you write a letter saying you accept the finished product once it is done.
