Where do you store your pool chemicals? I have always used a pool box outside in a shaded area. But now somebody tells me liquid chlorine should be stored inside in cooler Temps? Does it matter as long as acid is kept separate from the chlorine?

LC definitely inside in cool dark place. Otherwise it will decompose faster.

Different forms of chlorine away from each other or from stabilizer. All types of chlorine are better of in cool and dark places, but LC is the most sensitive to UV and heat.

MA away from everything else and in a place were it’s vapor wont destroy anything (I have it in a small all plastic patio storage by my shed).

I always kept my LC in the yellow bulk refillable containers in shade inside plastic deck containers. I'd refill every week or two at peak consumption. It will definitely last longer if kept in a cool place. I kept MA in the garage on a shelf. As mentioned above be careful about vapors. They will destroy almost anything metal.

Much like you I don’t have a cool dark place in a central Texas summer that’s not inside my house. I settle for dark and keep them in a plastic bin in an empty corner of my garage. I don’t keep many on hand and usually buy what I need for a week or two at a time. When in use - I keep a single bottle in a shaded area outside in another separate bin.
